Auckland Theatre Company
Villa Maria is the key wine sponsor for the Auckland Theatre Company (ATC) - the largest professional theatre company in New Zealand.
Villa Maria is the exclusive supplier of still wines for the Auckland Theatre Company's opening nights and wherever possible, Villa Maria wines are served at ATC events including season launches, industry preview nights, patrons’ functions, sponsorship hostings.
Auckland City Council
Another successful community initiative which Villa Maria is proud to support is the Cult Couture Awards, co-ordinated by the Auckland City Council.
The aim of Cult Couture is to showcase the talent, creativity and style of emerging New Zealand fashion designers and artists.
One-off garments that convey originality, creativity and innovation are invited for entry into the event's six design categories, with more than $15,000 in prize money to be won.
Michael Hill International Violin Competition
Villa Maria became the official wine sponsor of the Michael Hill Violin Competition in 2008.
The Michael Hill Violin Competition is a biennial event which aims to encourage musical excellence and promote young violinists from around the world who are seeking to launch a solo professional career in the music industry.
