Malbec

Malbec is a full bodied red wine which originates from the Bordeaux region in France, but its largest plantings are currently in Argentina.

Typical Malbec characteristics are strong dark colour, spice and blackberry aromas, red and black plum and spice flavours with strong tannins. This lends Malbec towards food pairings with rich red meats, particularly a good steak.
